Welcome to our Walloon Lake which is located in Charlevoix and Emmet counties, in Northern Michigan. This incredible lake covers 4,270 acres. With a maximum depth of 100 feet, Walloon Lake is so clear that you can you can see the bottom of this lake at 30 feet.
Walloon Lake Water Activities and Recreation
Walloon Lake offers an abundance of water sport activities that all of our vacationers enjoy: pontooning, skiing, boating, fishing, diving/snorkeling, swimming, sailboating, kayaking/canoeing, paddleboarding, power-boating, innertubing, and windsurfing.
Our beautiful Walloon Lake Cabin Rental is located on the Northern arm of Walloon Lake. It has 100 feet of sandy shore lake frontage, patio w/furniture and a boat dock for you, your friends and family to enjoy. We are located near the city of Petoskey, Michigan and are closely adjacent to all the conveniences of the city, yet in set in the pristine wilds of Northern Michigan.

Walloon Woodies Classic Boat & Car Show
Join us for the Walloon Woodies Classic Boat & Car Show in the charming Village of Walloon Lake. There will be food, peoples choice award for wooden boat and classic car, food, music and more! All featured on the docks in front of Barrel Back and in the Village Green Park.
Boats will be on the docks from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Classic Cars will be parked in the circle park and in the grassy area across from Hotel Walloon from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. There will be food available for purchase with all sales to benefit the Walloon Lake Trust & Conservancy. The Walloon Woodies Classic Boat & Car Show event is free to the public.

Fish Species on Walloon Lake
Walloon Lake is best known for its bass fishing, but there are plenty of species for you to enjoy fishing for: Bluegill, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Catfish, Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Rock Bass, Perch, Small-mouth Bass, and Walleye.
Wintertime offers a unique experience on Walloon Lake where guests can enjoy ice-fishing. This is surely fun for all ages.
